William E. Crown, III bill@crowncpas.com Bill Crown is proud of his Clearwater heritage.  After attending the University of Florida in Gainesville, he was anxious to return home after completing his accounting education in 1964.  However, he first moved to Miami where he worked with one of the "Big 8" accounting firms.  Finally, in 1967 he returned to Clearwater to join the CPA firm founded by his father.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Bill is actively involved with clients in a wide range of industries, helping to minimize taxes and promote efficient business operations.  He is also extensively involved in estate planning and investment management. Bill's great passion (other than his wife Bette, six children and numerous grandchildren) is fishing.  As the Founding President of the Florida Aquarium, Bill was able to realize a dream when the Aquarium opened its doors in 1995.

Robert E. Crown bob@crowncpas.com Bob attended both University of Florida and Florida State University, graduating from FSU in 1969.  Bob worked for a "Big 8" accounting firm in Miami and Fort Lauderdale until joining Crown & Company in 1973.  He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Bob is actively involved with clients in a wide range of industries, with an emphasis on high net worth individuals.  He is also extensively involved in all areas of tax planning, including estate planning and investment management. Bob is active in the community, participating on the Board of Directors of six charitable organizations.  He is President of Isaiah's Inn, which provides housing and other services to families working towards economic self-sufficiency.  When not with family or working, Bob's favorite activities are diving, fishing and golfing.
